Developing the business case for the expansion at The Pirbright Institute in Surrey

Steer Economic Development has been appointed, as part of the consortium led by A.D. Little, to develop the five case business case for the expansion of The Pirbright Institute's facilities at Guildford, Surrey. The ultimate client for the work is UKRI, via the Biotechnology and Biological Sciences Research Council (BBSRC), the latter having operational oversight of Pirbright and its sister institutes.

We are taking particular responsibility for writing the Financial Case, and developing its underpinning financial model, as well as preparing the Management and Commercial Cases. Our work is set within the current masterplan for the site, and is taking particular account of the key role Pirbright has played nationally in the recent COVID-19 pandemic.
