When I was researching which companies offered the best opportunities for my future, Steer really stood out above the rest. One of the key things that attracted me to Steer was its position as an industry leader and the great number of high-profile global projects they have worked on.
My experience on the Graduate Scheme has been remarkably positive. There is plenty of support from everyone within the company and the Scheme is structured in such a way that it ensures further career development and much needed guidance for anyone joining a new company. I relocated from South Africa to Leeds and the supportive culture of the company was truly appreciated during such a big transition.
Joining the team in the Leeds office has been really enjoyable and I was made to feel very welcome. The Leeds office is also well integrated with the head office in London so I always feel well-informed and part of the wider team.
The work Steer does is extremely engaging, and as a graduate, you are given responsibility from your very first day. This creates great satisfaction and pride in any projects you are involved in.
